Adam Bowen is a wildlife, landscape, and licensed drone photographer based in Georgetown, South Carolina. During a week aboard the adriftproject residency boat Hawa, traveling from Wrightsville Beach to Georgetown, Adam was inspired to capture top-down aerial perspectives of the surrounding environments. From the sandy shores of Little River Inlet to the Waccamaw swamp and the historic rice fields of Jericho Creek, these images reveal an otherworldly view of landscapes and ecosystems rarely seen from above, offering a unique perspective on places most people may never experience.
Adam exhibited the work he made on board at the Georgetown Wooden Boat Show in the South Carolina Maritime Museum.
